The Menomonee Falls Public Library has long been a cornerstone of our community.
It’s where children grow up with stories, where neighbors gather, where curiosity is sparked, and where public space truly belongs to the people.
But while library usage is breaking records, troubling changes are happening behind the scenes and the public deserves to know.
Cuts to Services, Despite High Demand
- Hours have been reduced
- Programs are ending earlier
- Staff positions are being eliminated or left unfilled
Despite these cutbacks, the library has seen record-breaking participation in both events and general usage. Fewer people are doing more work.
We’ve broken it all down. The cuts, the conflicts, and what’s really at stake.
